However, when I say “less-travelled”, I don’t mean it’s completely isolated or unknown. During peak travel seasons or on particularly nice days, it can draw a fair number of visitors, including locals, but generally, it maintains a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere compared to the major tourist hotspots in the region.

Dores Beach is located on Loch Ness, a deep freshwater loch in the Scottish Highlands. It’s nestled at the northernmost point on the east shore of Loch Ness, near the village of Dores, a short distance from Inverness.
