I suppouse at least parts of Olympics will be available “easy” through normal Phil TV suppliers. As e g boxing :) and some other sports Filipinos are interested in.
Dont know how many Filipinos know of Filipino have good medal chance in pole jump :) (Obiena) but there is/was a conflict with Philippine national sport organisation for tracking field, because they found the salary demand from trainer was to high. So perhaps they want to block the sending of that?

There is a satelite close to Bangladesh showing much what European TV are showing, which they can see to Thailand, but I dont know if reachable from Phils.

Nowadays much can be seen through INTERNET if have speed enough.
E g in Sweden I can see NFL, NHL and NBA through internet part of TV supplier for an extra fee, BUT if they wouldnt have, its possible to buy internet sending from other supplier, which dont have TV chanels. (At least NFL and NHL, I havent checked if NBA.) There are others such too for different sports or parts only showing by some. (E g I would have wanted to look at Preseason exersise game with my favorite team with new coach, because curious what he change and quality of new players, but it was only avaible in a “Scandal newspaper package, so I found it not worth the money, bit it was possible.)
Some showings are restricted to be shown only in specific country (because supplier have paid fpr rights only there, or because local produced not sold to elsewhere). BUT several claim they can fool that blocking by VPN-service make it look as you are in that country. I havent tested though.
