In 2023, the Bureau of Transportation reported that the average cost of a round trip from Jackson was a whopping $475.67. In comparison, the average flight from Los Angeles cost $140.63 and a flight from Chicago cost $388.55.
Even though flying out of Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport isn’t exactly cheap, there are ways to minimize your round-trip cost this summer.
