Caribbean nations listed among top countries for digital nomad visas

Tourism Review has released a ranking of countries offering digital nomad visas, with two Caribbean nations featured. 

The list, which ranks countries by the length of their digital nomad visa validity, highlights the region’s growing appeal to remote workers.

Among Caribbean countries:

4. Antigua and Barbuda – 2 Years Visa Validity

The Antigua & Barbuda digital nomad visa allows remote workers to live and work on the islands for up to two years.

5. El Salvador – 2 Years Visa Validity

El Salvador offers a digital nomad visa valid for up to two years, with the potential for a two-year extension.

Other entries in the ranking include:

1. Thailand – 10 Years Visa Validity

Thailand tops the list with its Long Term Residence Visa, offering a decade-long stay for digital nomads.

2. Taiwan – 1-3 Years Visa Validity

Taiwan’s Gold Card Visa provides a flexible 1-3 year stay with options for permanent residency.

3. South Africa – 3 Years Visa Validity

South Africa offers a three-year remote work visa.

6. Montenegro – 2 Years Visa Validity

Montenegro’s visa is renewable for up to four years total, with a required six-month exit period before reapplication.

7. Ecuador – 2 Years Visa Validity

Ecuador’s “Rentista for Remote Work visa” is valid for two years and renewable for two more.

8. Norway – 2 Years Visa Validity

Norway’s independent contractor visa is popular among digital nomads.

9. Colombia – 2 Years Visa Validity

Colombia’s visa allows stays of up to 180 days per calendar year.

10. South Korea – 2 Years Visa Validity

South Korea offers multiple visa options for remote workers, including the Workation Visa and Digital Nomad Visa.
