Tracee Ellis Ross just shared a packing habit that would make even Joan Clayton clutch her day planner.

Ross, who portrayed the meticulous lawyer on the hit series “Girlfriends,” recently spoke at Travel and Leisure’s World Best Summit on Tuesday. While in conversation with Editor-in-Chief Jacqui Gifford, Ross revealed her go-to packing essentials, and the number of undergarments took Gifford by surprise.

“There’s always one bathing suit, a flip-flop and one little dress I can roll up. And there’s always two undies,” she said, according to People.

The outlet noted that Ross uses soap and shower gel to wash her underwear in a hotel room’s sink.

“If I’m gone for a month on this trip, you can’t pack a month’s worth of underwear,” Ross said. “How do you do that? They take up a lot of space.”

The “Black-Ish” actor is no stranger to travel, and revealed to Travel and Leisure in 2023 that the act is a pivotal form of taking care of oneself — something that is very “important” to her.

“Solo travel, in particular, is how I’ve come to know and honor myself,” Ross said.

The actor also referred to herself as “a child of the world.”

“Growing up this way allowed me to understand that, even though people may not speak the same language, we are all the same,” Ross said. “And that allowed me to feel safe anywhere. The things that make us different are what make life so robust and textured.”
