If you’re taking the train out of Joseph L. Bruno Rail Station in Rensselaer, you now have a chance to learn about the history of local train travel.

A new exhibit was installed Tuesday, which takes passengers on a journey through Rensselaer County’s rich rail history.

The exhibit was designed by Joey Morse, an architecture major at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He put together a 16-panel visual history of rail travel in the county from the 1830s to present day.

Mounted on columns in the waiting area, the exhibit includes historic photos from the Hart Cluett Museum in Troy.
