Need a summer escape? Cheap(ish) flights you can take out of Jackson

With Jackson temperatures spiking well into the 90s, it’s high time to blow that vacation time on a trip out of town. Jackson has some of the most expensive airline fares in the country. In 2023, the Bureau of Transportation reported that the average cost of a round trip from Jackson was a whopping $475.67. In comparison, the average flight from Los Angeles cost $140.63 and a flight from Chicago cost $388.55.
