Recognizing that older women are among its most important guests, G Adventures has launched a full suite of new, cost-effective adventure experiences for women over 50. New 2025 itineraries include a 27-day epic overland journey from Johannesburg to Nairobi, a 32-day trip between Mexico and Costa Rica, a 12-day trip through Tibet and a 16-day trip through South Korea and Japan.

“We know that older women are looking for a more ‘rugged’ and exploratory style of adventure, but at an affordable price,” says Yves Marceau, vice president of product at G Adventures. “To meet that need for more ‘basic, grassroots’ adventure experiences, we’ve created a set of fast-paced, longer itineraries.”

With prices starting at $3500 per person, Marceau says the new trips are hitting a sweet spot for older travellers looking to be both active and comfortable, while enjoying local experiences in the communities they visit along the way.

In celebration of Dr. Jane Goodall’s 90th birthday in April 2024, G Adventures recently launched four new “Jane Goodall Collection” trips, which feature iconic locations from Dr. Goodall’s historic time in Africa. The Collection, which is endorsed by Dr. Jane Goodall herself, aims to promote responsible wildlife tourism and support conservation efforts across the globe. These include adventures to Tanzania, the Amazon, the Galápagos Islands, Costa Rica and the USA, including a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to observe chimpanzees in the wild in Gombe Stream National Park, the place Dr. Goodall began her trailblazing research in 1960 at the age of 26.

The Jane Goodall Collection is part of G Adventures’ Geluxe trips, which focus on being physically active and feature one-of-a-kind accommodation and elevated dining experiences. On a Geluxe trip, women can also personalize their travel with unique experiences, such as culinary, e-bike or horseback riding excursions.
