Here's a List of 20,000 Remote Jobs If You're Eager to Leave the Country  Thrillist

On Tuesday, November 5, you might find yourself wanting to pack up your bags and leave the country.

Maybe you’ll want to move to Canada (here’s how to do it, by the way), or perhaps, your eyes will be gazing towards the Eastern horizon, and you’ll hear Europe calling. After all, according to a recent study, Europeans work less than Americans and 51% of them are either “happy” or “very happy” with their work-life balance. In the US, only 34% of workers can say the same thing.

But regardless of where you want to be, you need purpose. And even more importantly, you’ll need a way to pay the bills. Cue in a digital nomad job, or a remote position that allows you to work pretty much from anywhere in the world. In the past few years, many countries have started issuing digital nomad job visas to foreign workers, in the hopes of attracting semi-permanent visitors and boosting their local economy. Finding those countries is easy—we have just the right guide for you.

On the other hand, finding a job that allows you to become a digital nomad might be a little harder. Unless you stumble across the right Reddit thread.

“I scraped 20,000 remote jobs into an excel spreadsheet,” writes the author of a newly popular post on Reddit’s r/digitalnomad. “It’s free. You’re welcome.”

Upon clicking on the shared doc, you’ll find a treasure trove of all sorts of jobs. There are, of course, digital nomad jobs (divided by tabs, according to your level of expertise) and even additional links for internships, H1-B jobs (the jobs that can sponsor H1-B visas for international workers), and US-based full-time gigs. If you want to leave the country, I highly recommend you stick to the remote job sheet, and peruse that one. For your own convenience, here’s the direct link to that list.

Unsurprisingly, the post’s thread is filled with thankful comments. “Hats off to you, Sir,” writes one redditor. “I am wanting to begin a remote working nomad life!” “Wow! Thanks for this,” adds another user.

Reportedly, the poster updates the sheet every couple of weeks, so there will always be new jobs for prospective digital nomads to apply to. In other words, don’t worry—You won’t be stuck in this country. If you really want to leave, there will be many opportunities for you to do so. So cheer up, and go vote!
