How to reduce the cost of booking flights
Despite today’s economic challenges, our research shows that women over 50 are planning travel in 2025, with more than 80% of women intending to travel internationally in 2025. While Europe remains the most popular destination, Asia Pacific ranked the #2 region on our survey of over 1600 women in December 2024, with North America, Africa and Australia/New Zealand close behind. With 40% of women booking travel at least 6-12 months in advance, finding affordable options to travel remains a major consideration, even in the off-season.
This month in our webinar series, we turn our focus to saving money on travel. Joining us is Gemma Jameison from Skyscanner, who’s based in Scotland and has been with Skyscanner for the past four years. In this webinar, Gemma will bust some myths about booking travel including:
- When is the best time to buy airline tickets?
- Is it cheaper to go directly or through an aggregator?
- What are some tips to get the cheapest flights?
- Does incognito/ VPN mode really work?
- What are the best value destinations to book flights into?
