Currently, the average monthly cost of living in the United States is $2,433 — an amount that’s rather easy for some but rather difficult for others to afford. Indeed, one in three American households feel financially insecure, per a report from LendingTree. Many might actually find it more affordable to live abroad, in one of the many countries with a lower cost of living than America.
